With these experiences under her belt, Saeed continues to design effortlessly chic fashions, as evidenced in her collection for Fall 2009, which she recently showed during London and Paris fashion weeks.

Zahra Saeed´s Fall 2009 collection remains true to the designers signature blend of fitted forms and flowing fabrics. Each piece is crafted from custom-woven fabrics imported from some of France and Italy´s finest textile producers.

"My designs are inspired by the amazing fabrics that are available all over the world," states Saeed. "I want to spoil woman by giving them beautifully-designed clothing, made from the best materials, at an affordable price."

This cohesive collection offers the modern woman a sophisticated, yet delightfully surprising look for every occasion from gorgeous custom tulle gowns to playful flirty skirts to chic fitted sheaths. Rich hues of orange, magenta and gold complement muted palettes of stark winter white, charcoal gray and classic black. Striking brocades, structured tweeds and plush velvets lend drama to the simplest of shapes, while Saeed´s focus, as always, lies in the details. Swarovski crystal cuffs, clever pleating and intricate embroidery are just a few of the lovely touches echoed throughout.

Though this is only the designer´s second collection, Saeed´s influence is as far spread as her the inspirations behind her designs. With distribution in the finest boutiques in Europe, England and the Kingdom of Bahrain, as well as her flagship store in Philadelphia, Zahra Saeed has a worldwide fashion presence.
The designer´s background is as unique as her creations. Born and raised in Pakistan, Zahra entered into an arranged marriage and became the mother of two daughters. After leaving Pakistan and settling in New Jersey, her marriage ended and she began a new life, taking a job with a mortgage banking company. Zahra´s determination and aptitude eventually turned an entry-level job into a position as executive vice-president. At the height of her career, she chose to follow her dream of creating her own fashion line. This dream was born during frequent trips to Europe as a child, where she was exposed to the fashion industry and its influence on culture. It became a reality after her experience as a savvy businesswoman allowed her to self-finance her company.
